My hobby

Teenagers use a lot of their time for hobbies. There are many types of characters in teens. So every teenager has different interests and hobbies. For example sports, collecting some things like marks, stamps and labels, reading books, writing, and cooking.

Girls and boys are different. For example, boys are interested in sports like football, basketball, volleyball and swimming. But girls prefer dancing, singing and going out with friends. Some girls like sports too like running, playing volleyball, handball and swimming.

How to Prepare Nasi Lemak

Nasi Lemak is a favourite Malay dish especially in Singapore and Malaysia. It is usually served during breakfast. But, there are eateries that serve nasi lemakfor lunch and dinner.

'Nasi' means rice and 'Lemak' means fat. However, for health conscious people, you can substitute low fat milk for coconut milk. 
 1.Add all the ingredients for cooking the coconut rice into the rice cooker.

2.Mix the ingredients well

3.Switch the rice cooker on and cook the rice for about 40 minutes.

How to prepare the sambal chilli.
1. Blend chili,shallots, belacan,and garlic into a paste.

2.Heat up the cooking oil in a saucepan

3.fry the sliced onions until golden.

4.Add in the blended paste and stir fry it for about 2 minutes.
5.Add in the tamarind paste and prawns.

6.after about 1 minutes add sugar and salt to taste.

7.cook until the gravy thickens

8.if the gravy is too dry add some water

9.turn off the heat

Serving the Dish

1.Serve the hot cooked coconut rice with the sambal chilli 
2.Garnish the dish with egg,anchovies, peanuts and cucumber

Introduction myself

Assalamualaikum. My name is Muhammad Alif Irfan Bin Mohd Hisham. I'm going to introduce myself. I was born and grew up in Kuala Lumpur. I'm studying first time about language project and the task is traditional foods
Im and my friend decided to present and explain about nasi lemak, one of the famous traditional foods in the world. Hopefully im and my fellow friend can give 100% focus about this project.

Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa apparently originated humbly in Kampung Baru, KL. It has been around since 1973 and the parent shop caters for the night crowd, doing business from 6pm to 5 am. It has since grown and there are apparently some 12 outlets throughout the Klang Valley. Unlike the parent, the off-springs are normal day-time business establishments

History of nasi lemak

Nasi lemak was mentioned in a book "The Circumstances of Malay Life", written Sir Richard Olof Winstedt in 1909.[9] With roots in Malay culture andMalay cuisine, its name in Malay literally means "oily or fatty rice",[10][11] but is taken in this context to mean "rich" or "creamy".[12] The name is derived from the cooking process whereby rice is soaked in coconut cream and then the mixture steamed. The rice is normally cooked with pandan leaves that gives it a distinctive flavour.[10]
Traditionally, nasi lemak is served with a hot spicy sauce (sambal), and usually include various garnishes, including fresh cucumber slices, small friedanchovies (ikan bilis), roasted peanuts, and hard-boiled or fried egg.[10][13] As a more substantial meal, nasi lemak may also be served with an additional protein dish such as ayam goreng (fried chicken), sambal sotong (cuttlefish in chili), small fried fish, cockles, and on special occasions rendang daging (beef) stewed in coconut milk and spices).[13][14] Other accompaniments include stir fried water convolvulus (kangkong),[15] and spicy pickled vegetables salad acar. Traditionally most of these accompaniments are spicy in nature.
Nasi lemak is widely eaten in Malaysia and Singapore. More commonly consumed as breakfast in both countries, it is commonly sold at hawker food centres and roadside stalls in Malaysia and Singapore. In Indonesia, nasi lemak is a favourite local breakfast fare; especially in Eastern Sumatra (Riau IslandsRiau and Jambi provinces).[16]In Palembang, it is also a favourite local dish with the name "nasi gemuk". In palembangnese malay, "gemuk" has the same meaning as "lemak". This unique dish often comes wrapped in banana leaves, newspaper or brown paper, or it in some shops served on a plate. However, owing to its popularity there are restaurants which serve it as a noon or evening meal, making it possible for the dish to be eaten all day. Nasi lemak kukus which means "steamed nasi lemak" is another name given to nasi lemak served with steamed rice. In Malaysia, nasi lemak also can be found in a pasar malam (night market) with a variety of dishes.

Ingredients for Nasi lemak:-                                   Delicious Malaysian coconut rice, served with anchovy hot chile sauce, fried anchovies, fried peanut, sliced cucumber or tomato and hard-boiled egg. If you do not have tamarind juice, substitute with same amount of lemon juice."
